I don't think I did ever read the Elven Nations Trilogy and I know I haven't read any Guardians of the Flame. bierwoman - Thanks for the vote. To elaborate a little bit: All of the armor in Guild wars comes with a base armor level. All of the armor show will come with the same armor level. I can get upgrades that can be put on any armor piece to make it stronger or to give me other bonuses. So as far as this post is concerned it is only the look of the armor. I also can dye it pretty much any color I want. I guess perhaps I don't know enough about guild wars to decide... But if I were just going by looks that i like I would pick either #2 or #4 just because they look kind of elven and elven stuff is always really lightweight and generally pretty strong.
