Amazingly useless stat

I’m sitting here watching a little bit of American Football.  The New England Patriots are beating the New York Jets.  They just said that Brett Farve has played against 4 (maybe 5) quarterbacks playing in the first start of their careers, and Farve has won all of them.  Today the Patriots have a QB getting his first start of his career.

Who keeps track of that and who cares?  It makes me think of baseball stats.  I think they keep track of picther vs pitcher, as if the pitchers every play directly against their counterpart.  Quarterback are the same.  I would understand if they had quarterback armwrestle instead of going to OT – then that would make sense.  I hope they change that rule soon and do go to QB’s arm wrestling instead of playing OT.

I should be playing Guild Wars instead of watching this….
