I’ve still got this fucking fever

Since Friday morning I’ve had a fever. It has gone up and down between 101.something and 103.5.

I don’t think I’ve slept for more than 3 consecutive hours in several days. That is really annoying – don’t try it unless you want to get really pissed off.

WTF do I need to do to get rid of this crap?

    Thanks for all the well wishes. Here is an update for you.

    I was given some drugs the Monday before I wrote this post. The drugs didn’t seem to do anything and in fact I started to get worse.

    I was finally able to go back to a different doctor on Friday. By that time I had missed an entire week (plus the previous Friday) of work. This was supposed to be my last day at that job too. So this new doctor had to take blood and do x-rays. He confirmed that I did have Pneumonia for sure. I got a shot in the ass and new drugs.

    I’m slowing starting to feel better. Nights are still not good times but getting better. Last night my fever was back up to 102 but Ibuprofen does actually seem to help that now. The weekend before I think my pain was fully resistant to Ibuprofen.

    I now have a week off before I go to start my new job so I BETTER be good a week from tomorrow.
