Which of these can I not afford?

I shouldn’t be watching so much of the Tour of California. It makes me want to get a proper road bike – you know for the 4 times a year I’d actually use it rather than my “city” bike. By the way – that “city” bike is still one I don’t quite have. My cyclocross bike is filling that role right now. This year I really hope to get into some actual cyclocross.

Which of the following bikes should I get?

bikes

I can’t afford any of them :( Anyone have an old bike you might want to donate or sell cheap? I need 2 more bikes I’m afraid…

I got a 2 trek mountain bikes, one hardtail and a full suspension. Also have a gary fisher hardtail and a Kona hardtail which i built myself. I’m most happiest with the Kona but TREK comes in second best. A total of 4 and i’m looking into the cyclocross also. ha ha ha.

There is always room for one more – right?!?!

Sounds like you could trade in one of your hardtails for a cyclocross bike.

I really like my Kona Jake – but I use it for kinda all purpose bike rather than actual cyclocross. I do want to do some real cyclocross stuff this summer. If I could do it again I would have bought a Surly CrossCheck or Long Haul Trucker for my all purpose bike and gotten a Jake The Snake for actual cyclocross.
