Need help killing Cyndr the Mountain Heart with heroes and henchmen? I tried this a couple of times with no luck. The GW wikia article hints at how to do it but it could be a little more exact with its description. I failed at this a couple times and almost gave up – but I finally got it.
The article says to take Angorodon’s Gaze and Vampiric Gaze. I put both skills on bars for Olias and Livia and headed in. The rest of my group was Dunkoro, Zho, Lina, Cynn and Herta. Getting up to Cyndr the Mountain Heart was no problem – but I died a lot of times before I was able to finally kill Cyndr.
The first thing you have to do is get Cyndr to appear right beside Mr. Budger Blackpowder. He has to be almost on top of Budger. There were times he was close enough to Budger that made me wonder if it was the right spot – but it wasn’t. He has to be practically right on top of Budger. You can get Cyndr to move by exploding 3 powder kegs beside him. Once he spawns right beside Budger you are ready to work.
Now flag everyone back in the tunnel that you arrived here by. Then you want to disable everything on your Necros except for the 2 spells already mentioned. I even had to take away their weapons. Now move them up to a point where they are hidden behind the corner of the entrance to the big room Cyndr is in. It isn’t real easy to get them to the exact right spot – but this is doable with 60% death penalty so you can experiment and just res if you die. Once they are in the right spot you can start casting their spells – just alternate between those two. I had to do it manually. I’m not sure if I could have gotten a little closer that would have triggered them to cast on their own or not – you can experiment more.

Here you can see where the rest of the heroes are standing. This worked good while getting the Necros situated. The Necros died several times and one of my healers would take a few steps up, rez them, and go back. You will want that rather than having to wait for the rez shrine.
